Shirley Mae Smith, 67, of Hustonville, died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born March 8, 1936 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Loma and Clodie Vest Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ollis Smith; three sons, Bennett D. Smith and Ronnie Smith, both of Hustonville, and L. Eric Smith of Harlan; a daughter, Connie Richey of Hustonville; a brother, Lawrence Anderson of Russellville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p. m. Sunday at New Salem Baptist Church by the Revs. Jim Norman and Matthew Jones. Burial will be in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p. m. Saturday at Spurlin Funeral Home.
