Many pay silent homage to deceased

Several hundred people from all walks of life were present at the last rites for Nettie Baker, former Thurston County Treasurer held at the Methodist Church here last Sunday. The assemblage which overflowed the capacity of the church, heard Rev. L. Yost of Walthill (former M.E. pastor here) outline his sincere impressions of the life of the deceased. Rev. Ray also took part in the services and Mrs. Ray Beerman née Genevieve Owens sang several solos accompanied by Miss Marvel Rasmussen on the piano.
