Lucia Corvasce, of Stony Point, passed away peacefully at her home on November 21, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She was sixty-six.

Lucia was born August 25, 1945 in Grumo, Italy to the late Vit'Antonio and Vita D'Erasmo.

She enjoyed many things in life including gardening, cooking, knitting, sewing, baking her many Italian specialties, and spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren.

Lucia is survived by her devoted husband Cosimo, children Roger of Stony Point, Nancy and her husband Edward DeGennaro of Stony Point, and Damian and his wife Mirella of Clark, New Jersey; and grandchildren Anthony DeGennaro, Angela DeGennaro, and Matteo Corvasce. She is also survived by her brother Pino D'Erasmo and his wife Maria of New Rochelle, sister Anna Maria Placido and her husband Luigi of Yorktown Heights, sisters-in-law Veronica Corvasce and Eileen Corvasce, brother-in-law Carmine Corvasce, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, GARNERVILLE. Lucia's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Stony Point.
Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet.
