Son of James Howard Brown and Velma Lillian Wheat.

Robert Howard Brown, 68, of 530 19th St., died Feb. 24, 1994, at home.

Services will be aat 3 p.m. today at Hayes Chapel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Hill Gardens.

He was retired from Uniroyal Goodrich after 41 years and served in the Army.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Payne, Tuscaloosa; a son, Randy Brown, Tuscaloosa; nine sisters, Nan Reid, Mobile, Addie Lee Livingston, Carbon Hill, Catherine Lovelace, Mary Sue McCormack, Joyce O'Bryant and Jewell Boothe, all of Tuscaloosa, Juanita McFarland, Minnetomka, Minn., Jean Ronningen, Sedgewick, Kan., and Margaret Tyner, Magnolia, Texas; a brother, John "Jimmy" Brown, Birmingham; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Frank McCormack, Dr. Ronald McCormack, McKinley Boothe, Leland Wheat, John Harris and Charlie Hutchinson.
