Funeral services for Mrs. Cecil Mae Hill Beckwith of Greenwood will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, at Lee Chapel in Winona, with burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Rev. David Haggerty and Rev. Fletcher Moorman will officiate the services.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 28, from 12:00 noon until service time, at Lee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beckwith died on Thursday, November 24, at Riverview Nursing Home
in Greenwood. She was 90 years old.
Mrs. Beckwith was the daughter of the late Robert and Lena Hughes Hill and the widow of the late Alex B. "Jack" Beckwith. She was also preceded in death by one sister and five brothers. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Carrollton.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Pittman of Grenada; three sons, Larry Beckwith of Carrollton, Bruce Beckwith (Virginia) of North Carrollton, and Jerry Beckwith (Debra Ann) of Coffeeville; three sisters, Mary Fincher,Dorothy Boyette, and Faye Dunn; one brother, Bruce Hill; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Wayne Beckwith, Ricky Beckwith, B W Beckwith, Ben Beckwith, Sam Denley, and Steve Ricks.
The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers of Riverview Nursing Home and to Sta-Home Health and Hospice.
Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Baptist Church or to Sta-Home Hospice.
