Retired Master Sergeant Terry A. Brammer of the U.S. Air Force went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior on October 1, 2011, at age 60. Born in Charleston, Terry also lived in Seth and graduated from Sherman High School.

After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force, serving our country honorably for 22 years in Vietnam and Desert Shield and Desert Storm. During his distinguished career, he served with the USAF Thunderbirds and received many awards and commendations, including The Kuwait Liberation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Accommodation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Asia Service Medal, Air Force Valor, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor and Air Force Good Conduct Medal. After retiring from the Air Force, his family moved to Pensacola, Fla., and then Guthrie, Okla. He earned his captain's license and worked as captain/engineer for Edison Chouset Offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.

No words can express how much he was loved and will be missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, of Guthrie, Okla.; sons, Michael (wife, Kelly), and Christopher of Guthrie, Okla.; and two wonderful grandchildren, Jayce and Kristen; his mother, Mary Brammer, nee Cantley, of Charleston, W.Va; sisters, Tonia Kelemen of Hurricane, W.Va., Cheryl DeeAnn Lawson, St. Albans, W.Va., and Donna Knight of Orlando, Fla.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald G. Brammer.

A military funeral with full honors was held on October 24, 2011, at the National Cemetery in Fort Sill, Elgin, Oklahoma.
