Ronald Otto HOGUE, son of Otto Elmo HOGUE and Edna Blanche ODOM; born 12 December 1935, Nashville, Davidson Co., TN; died age 75 on 14 September 2011, South Pittsburg, Marion Co., TN; buried 19 September 2011, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, Davidson Co., TN.

HOGUE, Ron Otto. Age 75, passed away September 14, 2011 at The Bridge, a nursing facility in South Pittsburg, TN. Ronald is survived by his wife, B. Larsen Hogue and his three children, M. L. Hogue, D. H. Bannister, and M. E. Wilson. Surviving grandchildren are M. Hogue II, M. Hogue, S. Hogue and G. Hogue. The surviving children of D. and B. Bannister are E. B. Holcomb, B. Bannister, J. Bannister, W. Bannister, and C. Bannister. Also surviving is S. G. Wilson, daughter of B. and R. G. Wilson; as well as Ronald's sisters, M. L. East and C. A. Carr. Ronald attended Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN and received graduate degrees from the University of Oklahoma, Nashville Night Law School, New York University and Rutgers University. In 1969 he was a co-recipient of the Nashville Junior Chamber's Man of the Year award. During this time Ronald worked for the Third National Bank as vice President of marketing development. Ronald and B. moved to the Dallas, TX area where he worked for Equitable Life Leasing as a regional manager until his retirement in 2001. He and B. moved back to Nashville and then moved to Franklin, TN to the Westhaven community. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to his Alzheimer's care unit. Checks are to be made out to: The Bridge at South Pittsburg and sent in care of Brown Bannister, 1905 Townsend Blvd., Franklin, TN 37064. Visitation will be held at Mount Olivet Funeral Home on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until the 3 p.m. chapel service. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
