Robert D. Blake, 75, of 13189 state Route 176, South Hannibal, died Monday at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton. Born in Ira, he lived most of his life in the Hannibal-Ira area. He owned and operated Blake's Heating Co., Hannibal, for more than 30 years. He was past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5380. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: His wife of 52 years, the former Dorothy R. Phelps; five daughters, Linda DeMott of Phoenix, Robin Griffin and Anny Everson, both of Fulton, Becky Hatch of Ocala, Fla., and Karen Abitz of Dubuque, Iowa; four sons, Randy of Lysander, Robert Jr. and L. Ray, both of Cato, and Scott of Weedsport; three sisters, Emily Ray Keysor of South Hannibal, Dorothy O'Brien of Baldwinsville and Betty Erwin of Cato; 28 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Contributions: American Diabetes Association, 356 N.
