The daughter of Robert and Maude Moore Clark, she was born on July 17, 1890 in Adair county. She was married to James B. Ludden who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Dr. R.L. Clark and two in infancy; and three sisters, Josie Bear, Gladys Sees and Coral Hunt.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Kesler of North Hollywood, California; one sister-in-law, Mrs. R.L. (Bernice) Clark of Kirksville and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ludden spent her entire life in Adair county until 1975 when she moved to the Masonic Home in St. Louis. For several years she owned an operated a general store in Brashear. Later she was employed with the Edna Campbell Book Store for a number of years.
Graveside services will be held at one o'clock Thursday afternoon August 23, 1984 in Maple Hills Cemetery. The Rev. Archie Cooper will conduct the services under the direction of the Foster-Fohn Funeral Home.
