Virgil M. Naylor , 84, of Scenery Hill, died Thursday, November 24, 2011, in Washington Hospital.

He was born October 22, 1927, in Marianna, a son of the late John S. and Etta Overholt Naylor .

Mr. Naylor served in U.S. Army from 1954 to 1963.

For many years, he was a bus driver for Schweinebraten Bus Lines of Washington, until his retirement in 1991.

Surviving are two sons, Virgil T. "Tom" Naylor and Vaughn "Tim" Naylor , both of Scenery Hill; a sister, Virginia Hess of Beallsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is his wife, Viola M. Dunkle Naylor , who died February 6, 2003.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of services, Sunday, November 27, with the Rev. James Markley officiating. Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery. Full military rites will be accorded graveside by Hancock-McCune-Horne American Legion Post 705 of Centerville.
