Margaret E. (Frazier) Abell 68 of Granite City died at 9:17 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1992 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center where she had been a patient for four hours. Mrs. Abell was born Nov 15, 1923 in Granite City and was a lifelong resident. She was employed for 30 years as a clerk at Amoco Oil Company before retiring. She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical United church of Christ. Survivors include her mother, Ruth (Puhse) Frazier and a daughter Phyllis Smith both of Granite City. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon W. Frazier. There was no visitation or funeral. Her remains were cremated and rites will be observed. Davis Funeral Home, Granite City is in charge of arrangements.
