Marilyn Lee Abbott, 68, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, in Columbia, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home.
Marilyn was born on June 17, 1943, to George H. and Hazel Qualls Ousley Sr. in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Marilyn is survived by two sons, Quentin Abbott and his wife, Jennifer, of Savannah, Missouri and Lee Abbott of Columbia, Missouri; one daughter, Lisa Everhart of Columbia, Missouri one brother, George H. Ousley Jr. and his wife, Gayleen, of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron and Allison Abbott, Daniel and Morgan Everhart and Elijah and Madison Gillespie; and one nephew, Gregory Scott Ousley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son-in-law, Bobby Everhart; one granddaughter, Michelle Everhart; and one nephew, George "Jay" H. Ousley III.
