Funeral services for Mrs. Earl Thompson were conducted, last Thursday, in Marks, Mississippi. She died suddenly, April 19.
Mrs. Thompson was the former Edna Taylor of the Raintown community. She attended the Lizton Grade School and graduated from Pittsboro High School with the class of 1905.
A former schoolteacher of Mississippi, following the death of her late husband, Mr. Jones, she returned to the Lizton area and was married to Earl Thompson in 1957, who survives. He is critically ill at the home of his daughter, Miss Mary Thompson, in Clermont.
