He was married four times as well as a few common-law wives. He supposely had over thirty children, but i have only documented 23. One of his children by Mary Good Hensley was my Grandmother - Sarah Rebecca Hensley. His other wives were Cindy Scott, Louisa Smith and Nancy Carter. He had several children by Mary's sister, Lucinda Good. He was a share cropper by trade.
