Maud was a daughter of Reader O'Dell and Mariann Alexander. Maud married Jerome T. Lewis, son of A.M. Lewis and Mary Townley, in Mayville, Tuscola County, Michigan, on March 16, 1895.

To Hold Funeral Today For Mrs. Maude Lewis.
Mrs. Maude Lewis died Tuesday, August 2, at her home in Watrousville after a long illness. Her husband, Jerome T. Lewis, died June 10, 1929. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday (today) at 2:00 p.m., Rev. W. P. Ainsworth of the Watrousville church officiating, with burial in Wahjamega Cemetery.
Surviving are four children, Huron and Lillian Lewis at home, Harold Lewis, Eloise; and Ambrose Lewis, Watrousville; also four grandchildren, Romalee McLaughlin, David Lewis, Maxine and Marlan Lewis; a sister, Mrs. Laura Sharp, Pleasant Ridge; four brothers, Jess, Warren and Will O'Dell, Cass City; and Melvin O'Dell of Caro.
