Esta Lee Elizabeth Beadles Cadell, 78, of Edinburg, Texas and formerly of Jacksonville; died Friday, June 14, 2002 at Edinburg Regional Hospital in Edinburg. She was born on October 18, 1923 in Jacksonville the daughter of Thomas and Reba Mitchell. She married John Paul Beadles on June 15, 1941 in Bowling Green, Missouri and he preceded her in death on November 14, 1980. She married Jess Cadell on February 14, 1987 and he survives at their home in Texas.

She is also survived by two sons, Tom (wife, Vicki) Beadles of Franklin, Tennessee, and Ron (wife, Gail) Beadles of Southlake, Texas; one step-daughter, Sharon Dotson of East Peoria; four grandchildren: Chad Beadles of Franklin, Tennessee; Kathy Holtz of Nashville, Tennessee; John Paul and Laura Beadles of Southlake, Texas; and two great-grandchildren: Cade Beadles of Franklin, Tennessee and Hope Beadles of Washington, Illinois. She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Sierra Beadles and her mother and step-father, Reba and Rex Kugler.

She was a member of several area organizations, and had served as president of the Amvets Auxiliary of Illinois from 1959-1960.

Services were entrusted to Williamson Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
