Nancy Harmon was born in Ohio
January 10,1838; came to Missouri
with her parents at the age of twelve.
She was married to John L. Barnes
about the year 1880.
To this union eight children were
born, all of whom survive excepting
Rose who died in 1907. She is also
survived by two sons of a former
marriage; William T. and Silas Rice.
She united with the Christian
church at Denver when eighteen
years old and remained a member
until her death which occurred at her
home in Denver April 16,1921
The funeral was conducted at her
home by Rev. A.P. Math?? and the
body laid to rest in the Kent ceme-
tery.
