Nicholas Wren Dies After Long Illness
Nicholas "Hren" Wren, 59, of 1903 Eighth Avenue South, a resident of Great Falls since 1893, died at the family home Wednesday evening following a lingering illness.
Mr. Wren was born in Austria Nov. 10, 1874. After coming to the United States he worked in the iron mines in Michigan for a time before moving to Great Falls. He had been employed by the local plant of the Anaconda Copper Mining company up until about 18 months ago when he was compelled to retire on account of illness.
He was a member of St. Jacob's Lodge No. 91, the K. S. K. J. lodge No. 67, and the Mill and Smeltermen's union.
Surviving is the widow and seven children, all of this city.
