Peace came to our mother, Dorothy Dean Evans Lynch, as her body was released from complications of diabetes and congestive heart failure. She will be lovingly greeted by her precious two year old daughter, Grace Ann, Mark C. Child who was her husband for 22 years and the father of her nine children, and her mother who she lost at an early age.
Our mother was next to the youngest of 11 children is survived by her older sister Marjorie Jackson and her hustand of nine years, Stanley Lynch, eight of her nine children Marco Merrill, Bruce Child, James Child, MarDee Clark, Holly Dennis, Dorothy Ricks, Carla Harris and Doren Child. She has 50 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Dorothy will be missed as a sister, a wife and companion, a mother, a sales person for World Book, an actress, a wedding caterer in Idaho Falls, a Primary chorister, a Sorority sister, and the owner and teacher of the Child Kindergarten in Idaho Falls for years where she was affectionately known as "Aunt Dorothy".
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday September 17, 1999 at 12 noon at the Holladay 4th Ward Chapel, 5450 S. Holladay Blvd. (2300 E.) Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Road, and Friday one hour prior to the services at the church. Services under the direction of Memorial Estates Mortuary.
