The film which was directed Robert Thornby, which was written for the screen by Arthur Henry Gooden and Lucien Hubbard, also starred Harry Carey, C.E. Anderson, Gertrude Claire, and Betty Ross Clarke. He was born one of two children as Harley Nathaniel Chambers to Andrew Chambers and his wife Mary J. "Jennie" Nolton Chambers in Missouri, on July 13, 1888. He was educated locally and was drafted during World War I, but he never served. Besides, playing the role of 'Hubbs' in the classic western film, "The Fox" (1921), his other roles include his actual film debut playing the role of 'Fritz' in the short western film, "By Indian Post" (1919), and as a 'Cavalryman' in the action-adventure drama, "Wyoming" (1940). His last film credit was worker as a wrangler for in the classic adventure family comedy film, "Around The World In 80 Days" (1956). The film which was directed by Michael Anderson and John Farrow, which was written for the screen by James Poe and S.J. Perelman, which was based on the book by Jules Verne, and which also starred Cantinflas, Robert Morley, Ronald Squire, Basil Sydney, and Finlay Currie, tells the story of a Victorian Englishman who bets that with the new steamships and railways he can circumnavigate the globe in eighty days. He retired from acting shortly thereafter. He passed away in Los Angeles, California, on August 8, 1957, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 69, and he was buried in Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, California. His grave is temporarily unmarked. He was married to Dora Margaret Chambers with whom he had two children, Viola J. Chambers born in 1917, and Harley Nathaniel Chambers Jr. born in 1919.
