Mrs. Green Laid To Rest Today
The funeral of Mrs. Jalak [sic] Ann Green, who died yesterday afternoon, was held from the residence on West Acequia street at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. The funeral arrangements were under the direction of A. E. Brooks and Rev. William T. Riggs of the First Baptist church preached the funeral sermon. Mrs. Green was a widow. She died at the age of 72 years. She is survived by three brothers, T. W., John and J. C. Wood of this city and a sister, Mrs. Betty Fisher who lives in Oregon. She also leaves three sons, Thomas, Wood and J. A. Green of Visalia.
