Daub, William E. Thursday, November 06, 2003 Daub, William E. Died Tuesday, November 4, 2003, one day short of his 81st birthday and after a 6 month courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Leah (nee Paradise). Loving father of Kathleen (Bruce) Carson, Sandy (Tom) Kenney and Linda (Jim) Schmidt. Cherished and admired grandfather of Christopher, Brian, Tricia, Angela (David) Fields, Jeffrey, Eric, Andrew, Tim and Meghan. Great-grandfather of Alana, Joshua and Andrew. Brother-in-law of Robert Sellers. Also survived by other family, friends and his "loyal friend" Daisy. Visitation at the Funeral Home FRI., 4-8 PM and SAT., 10-10:30 AM. Funeral Service SAT. at 10:30 AM. Bill was the owner of the former Midway Beer and Liquor in Greenfield, was a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II on the USS LST 949 and a member of the LST Association. Trained at Lawernce College V-12 unit and at Camp Bradford Amphibious training Norfolk Virginia.
