Dorothy E. Webb, 89, of Defiance, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, at the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo.
Born Dec. 13, 1915, in Defiance County, to Minnie (Russell) and McClellan Sines, she married Virgil E. Webb in 1933, and he preceded her in death in 2000.
A housewife, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and a former member of the Ruth Circle at the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Betty) Pickering of Defiance and Mrs. Jim (Mary Jane) Allen of Defiance; a brother, Sidney Sines of Defiance; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, and two brothers, Harold and Roy Sines.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-9 p.m. in the Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Todd Anderson to officiate. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance.
