Elkhart - Emily Olga Dickson, daughter of William and Mary (Slavik) Tretiak, was born in Cicero, Il. She had resided in Mishawaka from 1946 to 2005, and recently died in Port Charlotte, Fl., on November 16, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Edward Dickson; survived by daughter, Jackie Janicki, son, Kim Dickson, sister, Dorothy Kirchgessner, grandchildren, Kalia, Daniel and Chad, and a great-granddaughter, Lily.
Cremation took place at National Cremation Society in Port Charlotte, Fl. Memorial services to be held at Village Place Health and Rehab Center in Port Charlotte, Fl., on December 14, 2011, at 2 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the American Heart Association.
Emily was a devoted wife and loving mother; her kindness and sweet spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She will remain in our hearts forever.
