DALTON - WENDELL HENRY "Papaw" Dalton, age 83, of Lawrenceville, GA. died peacefully at home on February 3, 2007 after an extended illness. He was a United States Navy Veteran that proudly served on the USS Dewey during World War II. He retired from the General Motors Company at Lakewood after 35 years of service. Wendall was born on Oct. 21, 1923 in Gwinnett County, GA. and raised there his entire life. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Violet Jordan Dalton; Daughters; Patricia and husband Raymond Bales, Sandra and husband Victor Steed, Judy and husband Rev. Howard Mills, Jill and husband Mike Whitley; Sons; Kevin and wife Renee Dalton, Darryl and wife Lori Dalton & Mark and and wife Sandy Dalton; 18 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson; Sister Dottie Johnson; Brother; Kenneth and wife Carol Dalton; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Wendell Dalton was buried with Military Honors at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
