The Grim Reaper has again visited our community, and this time snatched from an already sadly stricken home another loved one. Cut down in the prime of life, in the midst of a truly grand and useful womanhood, endowed with all the graces which had made her not only the light of a loving and devoted household, but also of an extensive circle of relatives and friends, Della M. Williams passed into the rest beyond, Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 26, 1894. Miss Della was the second daughter of Wm. W. and Elizabeth Williams and was born March 7, 1866. Her life was spent in this community with the exception of a few years at Jamestown, from where she returned a little over a year ago, having contracted a severe cold, which terminated in bronchial consumption. Thus was developed the malady which was to terminate her earthly existence and shorten the span of her days before hopes glad fruition could crown completely the heights to which her ambitions led. She was confined to the house for three months , during which time she was a great sufferer and several times expressed her desire to depart and be with her Savior whom she had trusted so sweetly. On Wednesday morning, she repeated the twenty-third Psalm which was her present experience. On profession of her faith in Christ, she was baptized in May, 1884, by the late Rev. W.M. Evans and from that time was a sincere, devoted and cheerful follower of Christ.
