Travis Eugene Cantrell, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Travis was born March 7, 1927 in Campbell, Texas. His greatest love was his wife, Evelyn and their family. Travis worked at General Motors for 21 Years then opened up Cantrell Supply Inc. Travis was involved in the family business until he was called to his heavenly home. Travis was a life-time member of Woods Chapel Baptist Church, and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Travis was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Cantrell and his oldest son Ray. Travis was seen as a Christ Server, pure hearted gentle soul, never met a stranger, true friend. His light shined bright to all who he encountered. Isaiah 57:2- those who walk uprightly entered into peace; they find rest as they lie in death. Survivors: Sons Gene and wife Debbie; Jerry and wife Jackie; Daughter Cindy Rountree and Husband Sam; Daughter in-Law Glenda; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Mae Marshall.
