She was my favorite grandmother, my mother's mom. She had striking dark wavy hair and icy blue eyes. She loved her family and was very devoted to learning new things; would borrow our encyclopedias after her husband, Henry Andrew Lewis, passed, to read for pleasure. Gardening, esp. flowers and edible things were a great love. She could sew & crochet ANYTHING, without directions. She was a very hard worker with a soft spot for all of God's creatures. Miss her something awful.
