Walter Scott Benedict
The following is from the LA Times, April 5, 1892, p. 10.
"Death of an Old Resident"
Walter Scott Benedict, a well-known resident of this county for a number of years and formerly of Boonville, MO., died yesterday at his residence in the Cahuenga Valley. Deceased leaves surviving him a wife, one son and two daughters, one the wife of J.C. Kays, and Margaret Benedict, a teacher in the city schools. His funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from his residence in Cahuenga. He will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in this city.
