John worked at many things as he grew up in Egg Harbor. In the census records it showed that he worked at the Liberty Cut Glass factory. Later on after he married he started working for the Electric Company and that is where he met his fate. He was electricuted and died a few days later from the injuries. He left behind his young wife Wanda Theodosia nee Jobs and four daughters: Pauline,Wanda,Johanna & Tatiana.
