Hubert first married a divorcee' named Mrs. Mary Ellen (Bratt) Seevers (daughter of Arie/Urie Bratt and Eliza Curtis) on 31 Dec 1928.

In 1930 according to the U.S. Census of Elkhart, Indiana he was married to a Berniece (b. 1906 in Missouri) and they lived with his parents in Elkhart, Indiana.

He also married Miss Mildred Blanche Rowe (daughter of John Edwin Rowe and Minnie Virginia Krogstadon) on 02 Jul 1932.
