Earl Martin was the sixth of eight children and the second son of Lillian (O'Connor) and Peter Fosley.
Earl died of whooping cough. Sadly his older brother also passed away two days later (paralysis, following diptheria) and during this period his father had been quarantined and unable to be with his family.
