OBITUARY
W. A. Prince
BENTON, Tenn., Nov 15 (Spl.)---W. A. Prince, 65, merchant, who was taken ill in a Knoxville hotel some weeks ago, died in an Atlanta hospital last night. He had been taken to Atlanta for examination and gradually grew worse. His wife, two sons and granddaughter were with him at the end, also, his brother, Dr. Ephraim Prince of Morganton, Ga.
His body was brought to Benton today.
Mr. Prince is survived by a widow, six boys Parker Prince of Annapola, Texas; John, Winston, Richard, Raymond and Glynn Prince of this city and by four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Fetzer of Benton, Route one; Mrs.Jessie Harrison of Sweetwater, and Mrs. Gussie Morton and Mrs. Mary Lou Strecher of Knoxville.
He also is survived by two brothers Dr. E. Prince of Georgia and James Prince of Cleveland and two sisters, Mrs. Greenville Lee of Florida and Mrs. Lon Beavers of Cleveland.
Mr. Prince was a Mason and a member of the Baptist church of this city. He has been in business here for about 40 years and had operated the Central Hotel for more than 20 years. (Obit provided by Cindy Womble Billman)
