Mr. Donnelly was visiting his daughter, Mrs. Koegan, of Mankato and he spent a few days last week visiting friends and relatives in Madelia. He returned to Mankato. He was taken ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Koegan, with a severe cold. He was up and around Thursday, but in the evening complained of not feeling so well. At midnight he was unconscious and death came at 5 o'clock Friday evening.

Mr. Donnelly was 83 years old. He was born in Toronto, Canada, Feb. 14, 1843. He came to Winona County and lived on a farm. There he met and married Rachel Williams, 60 years ago.
