Fred son of William and Ida Marchael Armstrong grew up around Matfield, Chase County, Kansas. He also has a brother Lloyd Armstrong buried in the same cemetery he is in. ARMSTRONG-
Fred Armstrong of 1814 E. 15th St. (died) at a local hopsital Sunday morning. Mr. Armstrong was the husband of Mrs. Edith Armstrong of the family residence and son of W. C. Armstrong of Wichita, Kan. He was the brother of Lloyd and Clarence Armstrong, both of Pueblo, Mrs. Thelma Cadwallader, Mrs. Anna Gregg and William Armstrong all of Wichita, Kan., Virgil Armstrong of Madison, Kan., Bert Armstrong of Mondamin, Ia., and Mrs. Margaret Strain of San Leandro, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. George F. Lowe officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in Vesperland Gardens, at Valhalla Memorial Park.
