She first married Aaron Whitcomb on 3 Jul 1860 in Cato, Manitowoc, WI. She was granted a divorce in Oshkosh, WI, in 1892.

She next married Stephen W Turner on 15 Oct 1897 in Appleton, Outagamie, WI. He died in 1902.

She next married Russell R Moody on 22 Oct 1903 in King, Waupaca, WI, at the Veterans Home; where both were members. He survived her, but died the next year.

She and Aaron Whitcomb had at least five children. In addition to the four linked to this memorial, Mary Whitcomb was born in July 1864. Mary married Louis Hempton on 23 Dec 1882 in Manitowoc County, WI; and they had at least 4 children. Her death and burial information is not (currently) known.

FUNERAL OF COUNTY PIONEER IS HELD

The funeral of the late Mrs Whitcomb Moody took place Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs F.D. Palmer, of Grimms.

The deceased was born in New York state, 79 years ago, and is one of the oldest pioneer residents of this county.

She is survived by her husband who is at the Wisconsin Veterans Home and two daughters: Mrs Mary Hempton of Niagara, WI; and Mrs F.D. Palmer of Grimm.
