Charleston Newspapers - James R. Berry, 89, of Sutton died Wednesday, July 17, 1996, in Braxton County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired public accountant and a former recorder for the town of Sutton. He was a member of the Sutton Masonic Lodge and Chirst Church United Methodist, Sutton. Surviving: wife, Musette S. Berry; son, James R. "Dick", Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Nancy Byrne and Carole Berry, of South Charleston, Pamela Jackson of Dunbar, Janet Garrett of Manitowoc, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. The body will be cremated. There will be no visitation. A memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chirst Church United Methodist, Sutton with the Rev.Ernie McTheny officiating.
