b. 13 Aug 1849 Vermontville, Eaton, MI, USA
d. 20 Feb 1877 Vermontville, Eaton, MI, USA
per death certificate.
Buried: Ames (Haner) Cemetery, Vermontville, Eaton, MI, USA
Fernando Austin per marriage record and 1850 Census
DISCREPANCIES:
a) Mary Jane's notes show her born on the 21st, as opposed to the 20th on Joann's notes. The headstone has the 21st.
b) Mary Jane has her married to Sanford Austin, where as Joann's notes show married to a Fernando Austin.
NOTE:
Another reason I suspect that Louisa's mother Elizabeth (Owen) Hawkins is a daughter of Amasa & Elizabeth (Lockwood) Owen is because they had two daughters. One that is unlisted (born before 1820) whom I suspect is Elizabeth who was born 1819, and the other one was Louisa (Lucy Ann). I suspect that Elizabeth named her daughter Louisa J (Hawkins) Austin after that sister. This is the person I suspect is Louisa's maternal aunt and namesake:
Lucy Ann (Owen) Stanhope
