Mrs. Myrtle B. Smith, 76, of Farmington died Oct. 9, 1985 at the Donnellson Manor Care Center. Mrs. Smith was born March 1, 1909 in Lennox, Iowa. She was a resident of Farmington for 41 years and was a retired cook. On Feb. 28, 1927, at Mt. Pleasant, she married Harvey Smith, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Howard of Farmington; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Martha) Counts of Farmington; two sisters Ethel Willey of Riverside, Ca. and Clara Morrison of Woodland, Ca; ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers, three sisters and a grandchild. Her parents were Lewis E. and Winnie Munshower Bice. Funeral services were held Oct. 12, 1985 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington. Burial was in the Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.
