On 26 November 1902, Myrtle Selena Daharsh was married to Cassius M. Pierce in Omaha. Myrtle's cousin Reverend Frank Henry performed the ceremony.

Mrs Myrtle Pierce, 86, a resident of the Town of Lyndon, died on Wednesday at the Cedar Grove home of her daughter Mrs. Margaret Huibregtse, where whe had been spending the winter.

The former Myrtle Daharsh was born on June 28, 1878 in Wahoo, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Edwin Daharsh. As a child she came with her parents to Sheboygan, where she attended public schools.

She was married on Nov 26, 1902 in Omaha, Neb. to Cassius Pierce. The couple then farmed in Town of Lyndon until her husband death in 1945.

She was member of Hingham Methodist Church.

Survivors are one son LaMar Pierce of Little Elkhart Lake; three daughters, Mrs Oswald (Noema) Steuerwald, Sheboygan Falls, Mrs George (Kathryn) Jentink , Town of Lyndon and Mrs Margaret Huibregtse, Cedar Grove; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; Mrs Ruby Garside, Kenosha, who was reared by the Pierces.

Funeral Services in Hingham Methodist Church, with burial in Hingham Cemetery.
