TISHEUAR, JAMES E., 84, of Louisville, passed away December 2, 2011 at Jefferson Manor.
He was born on July 2, 1927 to the late Joseph and Helen Herbold Tisheuar. He was retired as the plant manager for Gilman Paint Company, former employee of Exxon-Mobil and a United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, VFW Post, the American Legion and the Elks Club.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Hershell Tisheuar; and a sister, Shirley Bass.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruth Schlaug Tisheuar; a daughter, Patricia T. Whitler and her husband Charlie; a grandson, Tyler A. Whitler; a brother Russell Tisheuar; and a sister, Dorothy T. Jenkins.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Monday, December 5, 2011 at 10 a.m. with reception to follow at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road with private family burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
