Harry L. Covert, formerly a resident of Three Springs, who had been residing with a nephew in Philadelphia for a number of years, died in the Philadelphia General Hospital on June 28, 1940 at 6 p.m.

A son of Nathaniel K. and Catharine G. (Stevens) Covert, he was born September 1, 1871. He was aged at the time of death 68 years, nin months and twenty-eight days. He was married to Winnie Montgomery, who preceded him in death several years ago.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ruth E. Park, of Altoona; one son, Karl Covert, of Saltillo; a brother, Arthur Covert, of Shirleysburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Allison Stake, of Saltillo, and Laura M. Baird, of Philadelphia; also three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Green's funeral home at Three Springs on July 1 at 2 p.m. Burial was made at Three Springs.
