Roy (Jack) Fisher was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 12, 1922 the son of the late Gilbert and Mary Lee Fisher.

On april 19, 1948 he was united in marriage to Jessie Brown Fisher, who survives.

Mr. Fisher was a Shoe Cutter for Brown Shoe Company for 19 years. He also worked for Marshall Funeral Home in Nashville, Tennessee and National Funeral Home formerly known as Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Fisher was a United States Marine Veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee and a member of the V.F.W. in Savannah, Tennessee. He loved gardening, fishing and hunting ducks and squirrels. Mr. Fisher enjoyed playing practical jokes on everyone and enjoyed old pickup trucks. He enjoyed family and friends and his church family. Mr. Fisher was a former resident of the Hookers Bend area, Memphis, Tennessee area and the Nashville, Tennessee area for 4 years.

Mr Fisher departed this life on June 20, 2011 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 7 months, and 8 days.

In addition to his wife, Jessie of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Kathy Fisher Powell of Dallas, Texas.

2 grandchildren, Courtney Leahmann and Lacy George.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Artie Pate, Geneva Byles and Edith Fisher.
