Mrs. Katie Louise Norman Brand, age 84, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 following an extended illness. Mrs. Brand was born on June 14, 1927 in Porterdale, GA, to her parents, the late John Norman & Nell Champion Norman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Arivile "Big Boy" Brand, son, James Dean Brand, granddaughter, Donna Mae Brand, step father, William Champion, as well as one sister & five brothers. Mrs. Norman was a member of the Church of the Living God.
Surviving are, Daughters Patricia Diane Brand Timms, Nellie Mae Brand and Esie Mae Brand Timms and husban Donald Eugene Timms, Eleven Grandchildren & Twenty Eight Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brand will be conducted Tuesday December 6, 2011 at 2:00pm from the Church of Living God with Rev. Bobby Champion officating, interment will follow in the Sanders Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday December 5, 2011 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Clifford Brand, Terry Brand, Billy Brand, Jason Timms, Randy Wells, Scottie Ray, Steve Segura, Marco Segura & Jonathon Timms.
