He was my dad.. he loved his children and grandchildren and would do for them what he could. Though if you took from him or lied to him he turned his back on you. He wasn't fond of you if you did him dirty. Sadly though he was one who only wanted many to just leave him alone. If he went to a bar more than once and someone talked to him he would leave and not go back. If you didn't make sense to him or repeated yourself constantly about your past he would get tired of it and tell you he didn't want to here from you again. He was a strange sort of person but he kept a lot inside and he didn't let many people in. Including me and as his daughter I came to understand him only a few weeks before his death as I visited him everyday in the Nursing Home that he died in. He started talking about his past and in those talks I heard things he never to my knowledge ever talked about and it gave me understanding to a lot of things in my upbringing and it also helped me to understand a bit about things that I do. Thank you daddy.
