Patrick Callahan, 82, long-time resident of Bisbee and pioneer resident of Cochise County, died early Sunday, Oct. 31, 1954. He lived at 420-E Mason Hill in Bisbee. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and first came to Arizona in 1905 where he lived in Douglas and worked for the El Paso & SW Railroad. He later moved to Bisbee where he worked for the Wootton Hardware & Plumbing Company as a tinsmith. He retired in 1940. He was a former member of Bisbee Lodge of the Knights of Pythians.

Services were held at the Dugan-Hennesay Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Victor Hand. Pallbearers were Larry Brownell, Phil Phillips, Cecil Dame, Baker Olmstead, Sam Medigovich, Henry Smith. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Surviving were his son, Patrick Callahan, of Warren, and his daughter, Mrs. George Warne, of Bisbee; four sisters, Mrs. Essie Osborne, Phillipsburg, N.J., Mrs. Louise Trenton and Sister Lamberta, both of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Nellie McSorley, Stockton, Calif.; one brother James Callahan, San Antonio, Texas; also surviving are two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
