AYNOR| Joe Martin, age 85, of Pleasant Union Road, passed away on Dec. 30., 2004
at Conway Medical Center following an illness.
Mr. Martin was born in Aynor, a son of the late Furney and Mary Johnson Martin.
He was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Snatha Hardwick Martin; are
one son, Rudolph Martin of Aynor; two sisters, Ruth Alford of Socastee and
Georgianna Graham of Aynor; four grandchildren, Keith Martin, Geneane Cains and
her husband, Sammy, Carlon Martin, all of Aynor, and Michelle Martin of Myrtle
Beach; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005 at Pleasant Union
Baptist Church with the Rev. Dock Rabon and the Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook
officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive
friends, Friday, Dec. 31, 2004 at Mr. Martin's residence from 5 to 8 p.m.
