In Memoriam

In loving memory of Mr. James E. Preble, who died in Whitefield, on August 18, 1931.

He bade us not a last farewell

He said good bye to none

His loving heart has ceased to beat

His loving voice is still

His cheery smile and loving ways

Are pleasant to recall

He had a kind word for each one

And died beloved by all,

He is gone but not forgotten

His memory shall never fade

Loving thoughts shall always linger

Around the grave where he is laid.
