RANDOLPH--Mrs. Ruth M. Preble, 86, of 34 Windsor St., Randolph, died Friday morning at the Williams Health Care Facility, Augusta. She was born in Randolph, July 29, 1894, the daughter of Fred A. and Mary Moody Hathaway. She was the widow of Wilbur H. Preble. She was a member of the Randolph United Methodist Church, the Gardiner Senior Citizens Club and the Four Leaf Clover Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward [Doris] A. Vigue of Randolph; one sister, Mrs. Leora L. Sprague of Gardiner; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
