Edward Harmon Lee Baker, 87, Anderson, died December 2, 2011 at his residence.

He was born September 14, 1924 in Putnam County, Tennessee, and lived most of his life in Anderson.

He was employed at Dietzen's Bakery for twenty-nine years and self-employed at Baker Wholesales.

Edward had belonged to the Moose Lodge in Anderson; was an avid golfer and loved auctions and flea markets. He was a loving, caring, and devoted father, grandfather, and a good friend to many.

He married Stella Mae Baker on September 2, 1944.

Survivors include his two sons, Jerry (Jill) Baker & Darrell (Patty) Baker; five daughters, Linda (Kip) Smith, Brenda (Ray) McGlothlin, Patty Baker, Kim Becker & Sharon Favors; three sisters, Alberta, Rosie & Edith; brother, Claude; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and care giver, Norma Baker. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mares, and St. John's Hospital & Hospice, who provided compassionate care.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Fannie (Tays) Baker; wife, Stella, in 1989; daughter, Carolyn Pugsley; son, Larry Baker; grandsons, Mark Williams & Jeffery Pugsley; sister, Gertrude; two brothers, Billy & Riley Baker; and two sons-in-law, Brett Favors and Bill Pugsley.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN.

Services will be Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
